Saki Company Develops the Next Generation 3D AOI System with AI Functionality

Tokyo, Japan, September 14, 2021- Saki Corporation, an innovative company in the field of automated optical testing and X-ray testing equipment, is pleased to announce that DENSO has officially passed the certification of Saki's next-generation 3D Automatic Optical Testing System (3D-AOI).The new Saki solution that DENSO will adopt and implement is 3Di-LS2-CASE, which is the next generation 3D-AOI with enhanced AI functionality.

The all-new 3Di-LS2-CASE maintains the industry's highest level of detection speed and accuracy, thanks to Saki's unique high rigidity structure and automated detection through AI.In the detection of solder defects (non wetting) that traditional 3D-AOI is difficult to achieve, the number of false alarms is greatly reduced, and the speed and accuracy of solder defect detection have been significantly improved.

3Di LS2 CASE will begin accepting orders in 2022, and the main features of 3Di LS2 CASE are as follows:
-Saki's unique AI engine learns from massive image data of good and bad products, eliminating the need for tuning solder detection data, achieving automated detection without the need for skills.
